Yelle: The French Diva.

Yelle is a French band founded by lead singer and namesake, Yelle (born Julie Budet; 17 January 1983; Saint-Brieuc, Brittany, France) and GrandMarnier (Jean-François Perrier). A third member, Tepr (Tanguy Destable), joined the band before the recording of their debut album. The band came to prominence when they posted an early version of the song "Je veux te voir" on Myspacein September 2005, which later reached the top five in France. Their debut album, Pop Up was released in 2007.

  • Tepr (Tanguy Destable) – keyboards, backing vocals.

  2. I would listen to French music more, but I have this friend that is WAAYYY too obsessed with french culture, so I avoid it. Might have to look at it in secret though, lol.
